Two sources of stock

The app and Shopify each hold a stock level. The app keeps them the same, but the direction is important:

• Shopify is correct when the app reads stock. A sale in Shopify decreases the stock in the app.
• The app is correct when you change stock. A change in the app goes to Shopify.

This rule prevents a loop. It also stops the app from counting one sale two times.

Change a stock level

1. Open Inventory.
2. Find the card.
3. Type the new quantity.
4. Select Save.

The app sends the new quantity to Shopify. This can take some minutes.

Sales

The app reads your Shopify orders each hour. For each card that it sold, the app decreases your stock.

If the app cannot find the card, it records the sale as Unmatched. Open Runs to see unmatched sales.

Refunds

When you refund an order, the app records the refund.

If Shopify returns the card to stock, the app also returns the card to stock. If Shopify does not, the app does not.

To change this behaviour, open Merchandising and set the refund policy.
