Install from the Shopify App Store
Install the app from Shopify, open it in your Shopify admin, pick a plan and connect your inventory.
Before you start
You must have a Shopify store. You must be the owner of the store, or a staff member with permission to install apps. You do not need an account on this site. Shopify tells the app who you are.
Install the app
- Open the Singles Handler listing in the Shopify App Store.
- Select Install.
- Read the list of permissions.
- Select Install app.
Shopify opens the app in your Shopify admin. The app asks for these permissions: read and write products, read orders, read and write inventory, read locations, and write files. The app uses the files permission only to delete the pictures that it added to a product, when it replaces them. It does not ask for customer data.
Open the app
The app opens on Store Home, inside your Shopify admin. You do not sign in again. Shopify tells the app which store you are in and who you are.
The account owner of the Shopify store becomes the owner of the store in the app. If a staff member installed the app, the account owner must open it first. Other staff open the app from Apps one time. Then the owner adds them on the Team page, with the email address of their Shopify account.
To open the app later, select Apps in your Shopify admin and select Singles Handler.
Pick a plan
The free plan carries one game. Each paid plan carries every game. The pricing page shows what each plan includes.
- Open Billing.
- Select Choose plan.
- On Shopify's plan page, find the plan that you want.
- Select monthly or yearly billing.
- Approve the plan in Shopify.
Paid plans start with a free trial. Shopify shows the trial and the price before you approve. Then Shopify shows Billing again, inside your Shopify admin. Shopify collects the payment. The charge shows on your usual Shopify invoice. Read Billing to learn how to change your plan later.
Connect your inventory
- Open Settings.
- Select Shopify Location.
- Select the location that you work from.
- Select Save.
- Open Merchandising.
- Select the games that you sell.
- Select Save.
- Open Bulk List a Set.
- Select a game.
- Select a set.
- Select Preview.
- Select List to Shopify.
The app creates one Shopify product for each card in the set. The products start with a stock level of zero. Change the stock level when you get the cards. Read Inventory to learn how the app keeps stock in step with your orders.
Use the app outside Shopify
This step is optional. The app also runs at singleshandler.com, with the same store and the same data. There, you sign in with Google. Use a Google account that has the same email address as your Shopify account.
Remove the app
Uninstall the app from the Apps page of your Shopify admin. The app clears its access to your store at once. Shopify ends your subscription. The privacy policy explains what the app keeps after that.
